This wax works perfectly for dough bowl/wood bowl candles. I tried it with a jar candle and it turned out ok but I only use it for dough bowls. The consistency is gummy and soft and the hot and cold throw is strong. I only pour once for the dough bowls and get a smooth finish. Overall great choice for wood/dough bowl candles!
